Camino Companions is an initiative of the Faithful Companions of Jesus Sisters. They offer a space to debrief, reflect and share on your experience of the Camino and prepare to return home.
The Sisters are based in Room 6 on the 1st floor of the Pilgrim Office (map). If you have collected your Compostela or are waiting in the queue, drop in and you will be given the warmest welcome.
A pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is something that is not taken lightly. Months of preparation, both physical and mental, can be put in before one foot is set on the Camino trail. So arriving in Santiago de Compostela after all the gratitude, joy, celebrations and the memories with all of your peregrino friends you have met along the Way, it is often difficult to switch back to normal life after such a meaningful experience.

The Camino Companions help by lending a helpful ear and letting you talk about your Camino experience. You can drop in, say hello and have a quick chat, or if you want to deepen the experience, there are Camino reflection sessions for individuals and groups. These are usually at 11.30am and 3pm.
Mass in English is also offered in the Pilgrims’ Office Chapel from Monday to Saturday at 9.30am.
A selection of the last year’s Camino Society’s photography contest winners are on display in Room 6, see photos below. Another reason to stop by and say hello.
